Supporting ice cream kiosk retail pilot for Baskin Robbins
Rapid Retail, the supplier of flexible and modular polycarbonate kiosks, has provided specialist interior shop fitting company, Railston Interiors Group, with three ice cream kiosks for use in a pilot sales project at motorway services for client Baskin Robbins.
Each kiosk, measuring 5m x 2.7m, has been specially adapted with reinforced steel to accommodate a full frontal roller shutter, with specialist cooling equipment and shop fittings supplied by Railston.
Baskin Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty stores, will be using the ice cream kiosks at motorway service areas on the M5 and M40, with plans for a national rollout, should the pilot scheme be successful.
Nick Daffern, Rapid Retail managing director, said: “I am genuinely excited about the continuing opportunities presented to us. Both companies work together with a range of well-known clients, both at home and abroad, including high street chains, top sporting venues and events, but also smaller concerns. No matter how large or small, it is our clients’ brand values and their return on investment which is the key to our business. We pride ourselves on tailoring solutions to our customers’ needs and continue to develop new units to meet the varying retail demands of our customers.”
Rapid Retail offers a complete retail service to its clients. As a flexible and low cost way of enhancing brands, its polycarbonate kiosks are utilised to increase retail footprint and maximise impulse purchase opportunities. Branded in clients’ colours and logos, and available in a variety of sizes and lay-outs, an ice cream kiosk can be transported easily and set up very quickly.
