Premier League club, Liverpool FC, is one of the top football clubs in the world and play their home games at the world-famous Anfield stadium.

Currently the sixth largest football stadium in England, Anfield has a seating capacity of 54,074, with plans underway to increase this.


Rapid Retail has worked with Liverpool for the past decade and was delighted to help when the club asked for four new pop up shops, for use in its dedicated fan zones.

Opening four hours before kick-off, the fan zones are designed as a place for supporters to meet before the game, to soak up the atmosphere of the pre-match build up. They offer entertainment and activities for all the family, along with stalls for food, drink and shopping.


Rapid Retail designed, built and installed four large, fully branded retail units. Each 5-metre long unit is being used on matchdays to sell replica kits, programmes and other branded merchandise.


The new units are eye-catching, and look smart and highly professional. They are helping Liverpool to capture matchday sales within high footfall areas and have reduced queuing, also helping to alleviate pressure felt by the club shop.

The units present visitors who wouldn’t otherwise venture to the club shop, with easy access to merchandise and increased opportunities to buy, maximising potential sales and improving the general experience of fans.
