A highly branded portable retail unit from Rapid Retail took pride of place in Regent Street on 1st October, a day when NFL transformed the street into a traffic-free haven of fun for American Football fans and families.
The annual event saw one of London’s busiest shopping streets pedestrianised and transformed into an All-American Football Zone. Held on the eve of the International Series match at Wembley between two of NFL’s most illustrious teams, event organisers filled the street with a host of activities and appearances to delight fans.
Due to the success of the company’s portable retail units at the event in previous years, Rapid Retail was, once again, the ideal retail partner for NFL.
NFL required a portable retail solution, one that would be big enough to service large crowds and facilitate merchandise sales. Equally important was the need for the unit to be set up and taken down in the minimum amount of time as well as being robust and visually powerful. With this in mind, a large, attention grabbing retail unit was required, one that could be installed quickly and easily into the heart of the city.
Our technical team proposed a retail unit consisting of four separate 6m units. The removal of the internal walls would allow free movement between all four units. Once the designs were approved and construction complete, we embarked on creating a bespoke and striking exterior finish. Whilst making full use its exterior walls, the unit offered NFL maximum brand exposure.
As a result, a large, fully branded portable retail unit, measuring an impressive 24m x 2.4m, was delivered on site.
Transportation and installation occurred during the early hours of the morning. Clearance and pick up that same evening.

Despite the rain, more than 600,000 fans attended ‘NFL on Regent Street’ on Saturday!
