We offer a Live Chat Box function, which is delivered by Zendesk. This service works using cookies, to let us know what pages are being looked at and when you have visited our site. We use this data to help us improve our website and the service you receive from us.
Any data you provide via the chat box, such as your name or email address, will only be transferred to our customer database, if you go on to request a written quote or to become a customer.
Otherwise, it will be deleted from the software following 18 months of inactivity. You also have the right to request that any data we hold about you is deleted at any time.
Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, and to better understand how well pages are working.
Although GA records data, such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you, but Google does not grant us access to this.

Remarketing & Heatmapping
We use Google AdWords Remarketing to advertise Rapid Retail across the Internet. AdWords remarketing will display relevant ads tailored to you based on what parts of the Rapid Retail website you have viewed, by placing a cookie on your machine. THIS COOKIE DOES NOT IN ANYWAY IDENTIFY YOU OR GIVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER. The cookie is used to say ‘This person visited this page, so show them ads relating to that page’. Google AdWords Remarketing allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.
We also want to better our understanding of how visitors currently use certain key pages on the website, so we use a tool called Lucky Orange. The heatmap tool works by using cookies that help us understand how website visitors are using certain pages, for example by recording mouse clicks, mouse movements and scrolling activity. Lucky Orange does not track this activity on any site that does not use the Lucky Orange system and you can choose to disable the service at any point by visiting http://www.luckyorange.com/disable.php.
