Busy Summer for Rapid Retail Ensures Stadium Shop Units are Ready for Football and Rugby’s New Season

Whilst football and rugby clubs were enjoying their summer break, we have been busy in the workshop fulfilling the new contract for additional stadium shop units for many well-known football and rugby stadiums.

Leicester Tigers, winners of this year’s Aviva Premiership, their tenth title overall, started their season as England rugby champions with a brand new ticket collection office. Branded in the club’s green colours, the ticket booth made a striking impression outside the main stadium. The unit  is available in a variety of sizes, making its debut at Welford Road last weekend. Tiger fans were delighted to witness their championship-winning team beat Worcester Warriors during the first match of the season.

Fans visiting Worcester Warriors’ Sixways stadium for their first match at home, will also be greeted by a new ticket collection kiosk. The rugby club has also commissioned us to provide them with two new programme trolleys.

The new football season, which kicked off a few weeks earlier, saw the delivery of 10 new kiosks for Manchester City, a refurbished shirt printing unit with added canopy for Manchester United and five new programme kiosks to Football League Championship club Ipswich Town. For West Bromwich Albion, an awning was installed on their existing shop units.

With many renewed contracts from other well known clubs, including football’s Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Brighton and Hove Albion, as well as rugby premiership Bath and Gloucester clubs, we are also delighted to welcome the Welsh Football Association, Forest Green Rovers FC, FC Nantes, Stade Francais and Montpellier to our impressive international client list.

Other exciting new projects have been the production of a new catering unit for Woburn Safari Park, the installation of a large merchandising shop unit at the Grace Gates of Lord’s cricket club, the installation of bespoke portable shop units in both the centre of Worcester and inside the county cricket ground, both commissioned by Worcester Cricket Club, as well as a number of retail kiosks to both Fontwell Park Racecourse and Bristol Zoo.

Nick Daffern, the company’s Managing Director, summing up the last few months, said: ”We are delighted to see that our units are broadening their appeal – from football stadiums and rugby clubs to horse racing venues and wildlife parks. Offering a bespoke solution, we have seen many famous venues increase their revenue whilst, at the same time, providing better facilities for their customers. Since we started the company seven years ago, we have always designed each unit with our clients’ needs in mind. In addition, we offer a unique rental option which means that the high quality tailor-made units we offer, do not have to cost the earth!”
